The history of this particular illusion actually came to be most recently, but was drawn out some time ago - Here is the background on this effect. Thomas was contacted by a magician in Oklahoma by the name of Steven Schneiderman. Yes, this is the same Steven Schneiderman that runs and operates MagicReviews.com. He had asked if I could build something for him to appear a certain sized object. After chatting some about it, I went into my book of sketches that I had and turned back several pages because I knew there was something I had drawn plans for that would be perfect for what he was wanting to do. And then BLAM, there is was. I finally had the opportunity to build something that I had sketched a while back and actually see it come to life. After a few miscuts, and bad measurements, it all came together. Meanwhile, I was sending Steven the photos of this apparatus every step of the way so that he could see what was happening with the progress of what we had discussed. After it all came together, it worked like a charm! And that is the short version of the MagicSax Mini-Blam.
The EFFECT: The magician places a silk, balls, cards, etc...into an empty box, and in an instant it transforms into 1, 2, or even 3 doves (flowers, soda, snake, rat, Dwarf Rabbit, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, etc....Basically anything you can imagine!) This effect can also just be used as a small blammo box! That's right, light a piece of flash paper, rope, string and BLAM a dove or anything else appears! You don't even need flash paper. The box appears totally empty until your command makes something appear in the blink of an eye! And yes, the walls falls to the side leaving the transformation in full view! Awesome effect!
To get the real power behind this illusion, just watch the video and you will see all the different things that can be done with this apparatus. This is only a FEW ideas also. If you have an imagination, then you have got a TON of things that you can come up with.
